A bit about me ...

I am 39 years old, and I have recently come back to web design after some time away. When I came back I found that everything had changed. CSS, something I was very fond of when I was designing almost a decade ago, has come on leaps and bounds, and so ... I caught up.

Mini Me - only thinner! The last year has found me redesigning a couple of sites, and making myself ready for a new world of technology. My day job is as a Project Support Officer for a local Charity. In this role I am solely responsible for the design of all organisational literature, graphics, and web design. I am also in the process of developing an MIS system in Access, so have a good grounding in data analysis and development.

I like creating my own graphics (all graphics on this site are created either from hand drawn illustrations (see right) or created from scratch in Illustrator.

Software

I use Illustrator CS3, Photoshop CS3, Dreamweaver, All MS Office suite. This site was actually built using the Frontpage code window, with occasional forays to the WYSIWYG window!!!!

Print work is laid out in Publisher although I can use InDesign.

Languages

HTML, CSS, XHTML, and I play around with snippets of JS and ASP from time to time.
